Macquarie is internationally known for its Business degrees and has several accredited degrees to enhance your career.

The Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) has received EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) international accreditation by the European Foundation for Management Development (efmd). Leading business schools in Europe to have gained EQUIS accreditation include INSEAD and London Business School.

MGSM is also a member of the International University Consortium for Executive Education (UNICON). Only those organisations with the necessary resources, management structure and highly-credible track record in the development and delivery of executive education are selected for membership. Other members of UNICON include Harvard, Stanford and Cambridge.

MGSM’s MBA program is consistently ranked in the top three in Australia and is currently in the top 60 in the world (Economic Intelligence Unit, 2008).

Macquarie’s Applied Finance Centre offers the world’s largest postgraduate Finance program and professional bodies such as the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance, The Finance and Treasury Association Limited, the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission attest to the quality of the program.

Also offered at Macquarie is the Master of Accounting (CPA Extension) which was the first program of its type in Australia. It is Australia’s largest postgraduate Accounting program and is accredited by CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.  If you have not studied accounting before, but would like to work as an accountant, the Master of Accounting (CPA Extension) allows you to prepare for your CPA Exams, while studying at Macquarie.

Macquarie also offered the first Actuarial Studies program in Australia. It was the first degree outside the United Kingdom to be recognised by the UK Institute of Actuaries, granting Macquarie graduates exemption from the United Kingdom exams.
